Concept
The European Congress of Medicine is a modern forum integrating the international medical circles with political and economic ones with a view to developing a new framework for the functioning and management of health services in Poland. The role of the Congress is to develop a dialogue platform for Poland and for Europe, and thus to enable exchange of experiences and concepts, discussion on problems and challenges, and formulation of new and improved solutions for the medical industry.
Scope
Subject matter of issues to be discussed during the European Congress of Medicine corresponds with the complexity of the management process and of health care establishments’ operation. During Congress sessions attendees will discuss such aspects as the national medicine policy, health care management tools, the role of local self-governments in the shaping of health care at the local level, or new technologies implemented in medical services. International nature of the Congress will make it possible to relate to the framework of European and other foreign experiences.
Range
The Congress is to bring together representatives of most different circles that are directly or indirectly responsible for health care services in Poland. Apart from managers who manage public and private health care establishments, Congress sessions will feature invited representatives of local self-governments, entrepreneurs, scientists, politicians and medical associations. So diversified groups of lecturers and guests will make it possible to carry out debates the outcome of which will be identification of perfect solutions for the health care sector in Poland.
